Mode operation:
· Off, one click goes to 1st mode, while one press & hold (~ 1/3 sec) goes to last mode
· If UP, a click goes to next mode, while a press & hold goes to the previous mode
· If interrupting in one mode (over 1.2 seconds), the mode locks in and then one click will turn off the light
· If you are locked in one mode, a press & hold will still work to go to previous mode, and the lock-in cancels
· In any mode, including OFF, hold for a long time (over 1.2 seconds), the 1stStrobe will be ON
· To engage battery check, OFF, do a click quickly followed by a press & hold
· To lock-out the light, followed by OFF, 2 clicks in fast sequence quickly through a press & hold. same unlock.
· When in strobe, clicks without a break becomes the next special mode (strobe or beacon). the special modes work just like normal modes: press & hold goes to the previous special mode, it will interrupt in a mode.
· In battery check mode, one click will flash out temperature in Celsius (not factory calibrated), another double-click will flash the firmware version # (v1.0 is 1 blink followed by a break).
